hi, friends in the arts.
in addition to sharing my life on instagram (@jacquelynstucker), i thought i'd take some time every month to share a little bit more about my upcoming events in a more formal way. i've done this in the past in my holiday cards every december, but never for my artistic work. here's to changing that.

up next: festival d'aix
(i definitely didn't intend for that headline to rhyme. i'm a poet... and i didn't even realize.)
i'm really excited to make a return -- for the third summer in a row -- to the festival in aix-en-provence. for those that are reading this and are unfamiliar with this presenter, think of it as the coachella of summer opera festivals.
in 2022, i sang the title role in a wonderful production of L'INCORONAZIONE DI POPPEA. in 2023, i sang two concerts: one of arias by mozart and gluck with the balthasar neumann orchestra; the other, the english language premiere of hans abrahamsen's TWO INGER CHRISTISTEN SONGS with the mahler chamber orchestra.
now, i'm singing something completely different: jean-philippe rameau. this summer's project is a pastiche of rameau's music that tells the story of samson (yes, the guy from the bible). i'm singing dalila, and the experience of singing french baroque music feels completely foreign to me. that said, i'm in very good hands with claus guth directing and raphaël pichon conducting.

big update: new management
i am absolutely DELIGHTED to announce a new and exciting chapter in my professional life: new management. i am overjoyed to be working with shirley thomson and zoe band at HARRISON PARROTT.
this change was long overdue, and i am overjoyed to be represented by this agency. i am completely confident that both shirley and zoe completely understand my artistic voice, and i am honored to join their amazing roster.
it's all about making some good art and having fun along the way, and -- with this partnership -- the three of us will do just that. artist page coming soon.
